I just had to share this wonderful book (again)!  I read it to day to get my students thinking about why they were bringing food donations this month.  They had such compassion and great ideas as to how they could help like Lily did.  I hope you like it too.  (I got an email from a parent after I sent them this  link and told them about reading the book to their children:
