The Power of STORYTELLING Make & Take
Presented by the Prince Albert ECEC Local Executive Committee
When: Saturday, February 9th, 2019, 10am-2pm
Where: Arthur Pechey Public School, 549-26th St W, Prince Albert
We hope you can join us for an exciting day of learning about incorporating storytelling into Prekindergarten-Grade Three Classrooms. We will explore how storytelling develops oral language, reading and writing skills, supports cross-curricular work, and connects with Indigenous perspectives.
Participants will also have time to create a variety of Storytelling materials for their classrooms.
Presentation and materials are based on the ECEC Power of Story workshop held in October 2018.
Some of the storytelling items you will be able to create:

A favorite children’s book to share and support storytelling
Cost: $15.00– includes one-year ECEC Provincial membership, a light lunch and Make and Take materials
(**Please note ECEC memberships are valid for one school year)
